How does our Muurikka Electric Smoker work?
Once the electric smoker is turned on, the heating element will allow the wood chips to smoulder and therefore produce a constant stream of rich, smokey flavours.
Our food smoker is versatile and allows you to try new and different ways of preparing meals simply by changing the chips and tasting the difference whether it's apple smoked pork, hickory smoked beef, or oak smoked salmon. There are very few limits as to different types of food you can smoke.
Try tossing fresh leaves, stems, or herbs onto the wood chips. Bay leaves, rosemary, fruit peel, or cinnamon sticks are some examples. Just be sure to add some water, so they don't burn quickly.
And the best part is you don’t need to prepare the food hours or days in advance. Nor do you need a huge and expensive machine.
